I’ve done a fair little bit of work with Final Cut Pro for various classes here and there throughout my school career, today however was the first time I’ve really spent any amount of time trying to do color correction. I don’t know why it took me so long to use this feature, as it was far easier, and much more intuitive than one would expect.

Good work apple.

Here are some before and after comparisons of what I was able to accomplish in just an afternoon.

Before
Katy and Amie - pre color correction

After
Katy and Amie - post color correction

If you’ve ever seen deleted scenes from a movie in the extras section of a DVD before this might look familiar. I’id always wondered what it was they were doing to their film in post to get it looking so much nicer.

These screens are from a movie that I’m currently working on for on of my classes at school, and rest assured that as soon as there’s a “final” version you’ll see it here first.
